oral sex with my partner

ok so my gf had hpv the type that causes warts, we don't have sexual contact, we have been together for  a while now, and lately iv been considering giving her oral sex, since she has no warts around her clit any ways, will I contract hpv from doing so? also if I was to contract it from oral sex will I begin to grow warts as well? or will I only get warts from genital to genital contact

The virus becomes dormant in most people.  However this does not mean it ever goes away. Nor does it mean that someday she won't be infectious again although this is rare. Warts can occur from genital to genital sex or from oral sex. If she does not have any active warts now (she should get tested to be sure since some warts cannot be seen by the naked eye), then she is not infectious now and you can give her oral sex. There will always be a very low risk to any sexual contact with her however how do you know that you don't have it too?   The absence of warts means nothing to anyone, male or female. If you two love each other, sex is normal and should occur. Endling your relationship over this makes no sense because nearly 80% of sexually active adults have it or been exposed to it. So whats the odds that you run into the 20% that don't?  IMO, just go on with your life with her and know that infection could occur years/decades from now or you could even expose her to a strain that you may be carrying if you were sexually active in your past.
