If you are concerned, you should get an HIV test, they are very accurate. The appearance of a wart is not a sign of HIV.
It could be a wart, it isn't a really big deal for you either way, although your wife's doctor should be made aware of a possible transmission risk. Genital Warts can occasionally cause problems during pregnancy, but this is extremely uncommon.
