reccuring warts

Dear Doctor

I was wondering if you could basically give me some information just to put my mind at rest as I have tried researching on the internet but theres a lot of different information.

Firstly, I had genital warts round about January 2010 and I explained this to my new boyfriend, but in February we got drunk and had unprotected sex, stupid I know. Anyways, from that night I acctually got pregnant so obviously that affected my warts and made them stay a lot longer, i wasnt ready for a child so i had a termination and after all of this my warts went round about june. I havent had any warts since, but me and my boyfriend have started having unprotected sex again so I was wondering if the warts could ping pong back and forth or whats the chance of them reccuring after nine months? please could you get back asap as I cant get it off my mind.

You can't ping pong a strain or symptoms between you. At this point if you and your bf are faithful then it is fine to have unprotected sex. If either of you or both have other sexual partners then you could be at risk for strains you don't have and new symptoms, or other STD's.

9 months is great! Docs says after 3 to 6 months with no symptoms you can be sexual without disclosure so it is likely you are not clear and I hope this for you. :)
