recent diagnosis

I just was diagnosed with hpv- I've research and think I understand a lot of it, I just had my first treatment with acid to remove the warts, and have it scheduled another follow up for next week. I understand that I need to make sure that I keep my immune system up so that once the warts are fully gone they don't come back. I know it sounds silly, but I was wondering.... can it be transmitted on a shared loofah? Also, for anyone who has had the acid treatment, how successful was it?

HPV is only really transmitted through sexual contact, there is little to no risk of passing it any other way.
