resume intercourse

I had my warts removed nearly 3 months ago.
When would be correct time to resume unprotected intercourse with new partner who never was infected

Not arguing but Dr Handsfield and Hook say it is 6 months and 3 months respectively. Thoogh i can understand making it a year and erring on the side of caution. As said before its a bit confusing.

How do you know your new partner was never infected?  Is she a complete (absolutely no sex of any kind) virgin?  If not, then this is just a theory which she cannot prove unless she is tested. Anyway back to your question, the doctors on the Forum (before they stopped supporting the Forum) have said that 3-6 months is the normal time to resume sex. With 3 months being the minimum.  Unsafe sex is itself not that good of an idea anytime but especially during the recovery period. Latex condoms provide your body protection against more warts during the recovery period. IMO, using condoms now will help in this recovery and if you must have sex at all, please wear a condom in the first year. For your sake and hers.
