scarring on side of penis

Hi...I've never been diagnosed with HPV, but had unprotected sex a few months ago and shortly after noticed a bump.  Went to dermatologist who said it was a clogged sebacious gland and would resolve.  Shortly after, I moved for work.  The bump didn't go away - got larger.  I guess I got in my head about it a bit, and decided that I'd use a nitrogen wart remover to burn it off.  Big mistake.  I overdid it, and now have scarring in the area on the side of my penis.  It's really an issue.  I've tried to keep the tissue plastic, but it's continuing to swell and I can see clearly the white, hard scar tissue that has formed around the burn.

Does anyone have any idea how to treat this sort of injury?  I feel like such a *******, but this is much worse than the actual problem that started it, and now I'm trying to figure out what to do.  Many thanks for any advice.

unfortunately that’s why self treatment is not recommended... you should consider finding a dermatologist where you now reside... or try contacting your doctor and see what they say... sorry there is nothing we can help you with
