small lump on penis

Hello,

I have one very small lump on the shaft of my penis that has been there for as long as I can remember. It is flesh colored and slightly raised above the skin. It doesn't hurt and you really have to look hard to see it. Is this a genital wart? I have only received fellatio from women before, and from my reading of this site transmission of hpv via fellatio is very uncommon if not impossible. It doesn't grow or spread and I think I would have more than just one wart if it was genital warts. Any advice?

I had the same thing and was concerned that it was HPV. The doctor told me that it was not HPV and merely a clogged pore. HPV is characterized a series of small bumps that look like cauliflower
The doctor also told me that HPV transmission occurs when the warts are present. This because the warts secrete fluids with HPV virus . Other articles and studies indicate that oral HPV transmissions primarily during anal or cunnilingus oral sex. I have read however that some strains of HPV there is no symptoms of the disease....?

I would think your chances are close to 0. But don't trust me with your health! Based on your sexual exposure. HPV is spread via skin to skin contact not via fluids. If you have ever had any grinding without clothes or mutual masturbation with shared touching there could be transference. If you did have warts it would be odd that you only had one that never changed. The only way to know for sure is to see a dermatologist.
