Yes it is true, a lot of times it just goes away on its own but make sure to do follow up paps to see if it gets worse or better. I'm not sure what you mean by how did HPV evolve? It is a sexually transmitted disease. Men cannot be tested for the type of hpv you have, and when it comes to warts, they are only tested via visual diagnosis.

Well how long have you been having unprotected sex for? If it's been a while, he probably already has it therefore condoms aren't necessary. It's up to you guys really, whether he wants to resign himself to the fact he probably already has it or whether he isn't ready to risk it

What is it that's worrying you, do you think he will think you've cheated? It is impossible to tell who you got HPV from because it can lay dormant for many many years and suddenly pop up. You could of had it before you met him, he could of gave it to you.. you could of got it from your very first sexual partner!

Make sure you explain everything to him, because you cannot go through this alone. You don't need to feel bad for having HPV, it is sexually transmitted but the stigma attached to that is so narrow minded. You have something many many women get

The internet can be very misleading, of course it is going to scare you, and having HPV is very scary in itself. Tell your husband, you can't go through this alone, he wil be able to hold your hand through it. You will be okay as long as you do what the Dr's say, you will be okay

He said I need a hysterectomy because I had a few hpv cells that can cause cancer on my cervixs, when i left the drs. office I told myself ok i hope they caught it early, then I look it up and that when all the fear anger and saddness hit me. I haven't told my husband yet I don't know what to say, I don't know what to tell myself. thank you for your help

It's okay, hearing you have HPV at first is terrifying but you just need to educate yourself on the topic.

You need to just follow the Dr's advice, it all depends on what kind you have. Most of all you need to keep calm because stress will only aggrivate the HPV virus.

So you have high risk HPV - is it low grade changes or severe changes? Has the Dr proposed any treatment?
