I recently been having palpitations when laying down or sitting up, when I'm standing I'm just fine, I went to the dr's today my heart, blood pressure, oxygen and iron is fine. Dr them had me test for thyroid I will find out in a few days if this is the problem.
This isn't a "classic" thyroid symptom. A family doctor could do "orthostatic blood pressure and pulse measurements", and better yet, a 24-hour Holter Monitor test could be ordered to see if their is any unusual rhythm to your heart at various times of the day.
