Has anyone had palpitations sitting down or laying down

I recently been having palpitations when laying down or sitting up, when I'm standing I'm just fine, I went to the dr's today my heart, blood pressure, oxygen and iron is fine. Dr them had me test for thyroid I will find out in a few days if this is the problem.

Your absolutely right my thyroid is fine, dr just put an order in for the 24 hr holter monitor. I'm 46 and it seems to happen before my monthly scary feeling. Thank you for the suggestion

This isn't a "classic" thyroid symptom. A family doctor could do "orthostatic blood pressure and pulse measurements", and better yet, a 24-hour Holter Monitor test could be ordered to see if their is any unusual rhythm to your heart at various times of the day.
