possibility of hysterectomy

im going under surgery on wednsday.they found a massive ovarian cyst [fluid] on my right ovary[not cancerous] and am very worried of possible both ovaries being removed and a possible hysterectomy.. the cysts is as big as a basketball and we dont know how long its been there.. i hope i get a feedback asap i am 25 and i have no children

In the event of benign disease (no cancer), It is unlikely that a hysterectomy will be warranted. If both ovaries are diseased; being that you have not completed your childbearing-- I strongly recommend that you see a reproductive endocrinologist for egg harvesting options.
