Adverse reaction to Clindesse

Adverse reaction to Clindesse

I am in menopause and have often either a bacterial vag infection and sometimes a yeast infection

the BV infection has been the one I have more often....

my gyn prescribed clindesse a form of clindimycin....in a on e time applicator ..one dose
cream..

It caused intense burning in the vagina and the burning went up into the colon area around the bladder
area and now is in the upper intestines and esophagus area..
I have never endured such burning intense pain as the last 28 days after using the clindesse cream..

I would like to know ...
Should I avoid ORAL clindimycin in the future to treat my BV infections...
since the vaginal one time dose of clindesse caused this adverse reaction?

What do you think could be causing this much inflamation (inflammation) other than an adverse reaction to the clindesse?
could I now have ulcers inside my intestines from the clindesse or what?

One other question..I use vagifem once a week 25 mg...to try to keep my vagina ph more normal
so that infections won't appear...
Is this a good idea to use it since I am in menopause for the last 5 years?

Does the vagifem help ward off the bv and or yeast infections?
