Anyone Else Have a Botched Hysterectomy?

I went in for a laparoscopic hysterectomy, released from the hospital the next day. Two days later returned to the ER in the middle of the night and was rushed to emergency surgery. I had sepsis and periotinitus due to a 2 1/2 centimeter whole that had been cut in my Colon. I went through hell and was furious when I found out the pathologist had called my OBGYN and told him he had found colonic tissue in my lab specimen but my "doctor I refer to loosely" never bothered to call me. His response .... He didn't want to cause me any undue stress. I almost died, had to have a colon resection and my gallbladder removed as well as weeks in the hospital due to infection.
Has anyone else had anything similar happen?
