Bicornet Uterine Ablasion

I have what I have been told is a "textbook bicornet uterus".  I do not have a full septum.  I am having continuous bleeding problems.  I hate being on the pill and have not been since before my 2nd child.   My OB-GYN is uncertain if you can or if anyone has done  a uterine ablasion of a bicornet uterus.  I will not have a hysterectomy.  

Please also inform me which type of ablasion was preformed or which one you feel would be the best.

I know what a bicornet uterus is, its rather heart shaped, almost but not quite split in two, and it forms this way during fetal development for reasons unknown.

I dont blame you one bit for not wanting a hysterectomy, that is a very serious surgery and should only be used as a last option.

I believe there are seven different types of ablasion, form cold freeze to use of thermal waves. I am going to advise you to post this in two differect forums, as I do not have the answer for you, I apologise for that, Your question is a rare one.

Try posting this on the rare disorders forum ( doctors answer that) and the ask a dr. forum, ( drs again, but they only answer so many questions per day.

Best of luck and again, I just dont want to steer you wrong. I looked up images of a bicornet uterus, and I can see the concern, its almost as if there are two uteruses, they are likely afraid of a hemmorage.
