Bleeding 11 years after partial hysterectomy

Two days ago my lower back started hurting & I had a brownish discharge from my vagina. I had a partial hysterectomy 11 years ago because I had large fibroid tumors. My ovaries and cervix  were left. I just  went to family physician and  after a vaginal exam she said she has never seen a hysterectomy like mine. I t looks different (whatever that means) .I have to wait on the results of my pap smear and then I'm going back to surgeon that did my hysterectomy. Do you have a clue what might be wrong? I know it might be ovarian cancer. Right?

Bleeding after a sub-total hysterectomy is usually because of local causes in the cervix. Pap smear reports will help rule out the risk of stump cancer or other pathology of the cervix that was left behind. Ultrasound of the pelvis can detect any ovarian cysts. Consult a gynaecologist for an evaluation.

I went to the surgeon/ gynecologist that performed my hysterectomy. After a painful internal exam & urine check he said my urine was fine and he only saw a swollen gland inside of me which he wasn't going to treat. He said to come back immediately if I experience any bleeding. I am still waiting on the results of the pap smear done by my family physician a week ago. My lower back pain has eased and I had three days with no discharge but now I'm having a yellow discharge that started today. I am frustrated ,confused and worried. Any thoughts on what I should do next, if anything?
