Can a woman still get a STD after a full hysterectomy?

A friend told me that her doctor said she wasn't able to get stds because she had a full hysterectomy. Is that correct?

That is not correct. A woman can still get STD's.

No.  A person can get a sexually transmitted disease no matter if she has her uterus and ovaries or not.
