DNC and balloon ablasion

I had a DNC and balloon ablasion (spelling?) on Nov. 4, 2009 since then I have had pain.  The reason for the procedure was horrible menstral cycles.  Now I am scheduled for a hysterectomy Jan. 6.  I have been through 2 courses of antibiotics and now have a yeast infection which I am going to treat with monistat.   Is this normal?  I had a horrible liquid discharge for over a month, now the yeast infection which I'm thinking is from the antibiotics.  I have not been comfortable since before the procedure.  My last period was 9/21/09, and I am thinking that my 9-10 day menstral cycles were better than all this pain.  My dr. is now saying I need pain management, which I disagree with.  I cancelled the appt.  Any advice is welcome.

Thanks
Alley

That's the same reason I had my hysterectomy. That was many years ago when there was little they could do for it.
Have you talked to your Dr about lazor surgery? I'm wondering if this may be an option for you. Take care. Remar

I have endometriosis.  Thats why they did the DNC/ablasion.  I just went for more testing.  I see the dr. on the 18th for the results, I guess all I can do is wait till then.

Thanks.

Yes, it's very common to get a yeast infection while taking antibiotics so using Monistat is a very good idea.
Why did your Dr do a DNC and now has you scheduled for a hysterectomy?
I don't think it's normal to still be having pain. It's been over a month and you should be feeling better.
If it were me I would get a second and maybe even a third opinion before getting the surgery. Take care. Remar
