Do I need a Hysterectomy?

This has never happened to me before. I have had endo since I was 12 years old. My cycle has never been a perfect 28 day thing. But it has always been a 7 day thing. It starts off heavy then slows down to spotting then nothing. Usually 20 to 30 days it will start again. August 8,2011 it started as normal only on the 8th day I was still spotting. After about 10 days the heavy bleeding and pain came back, then over days back to spotting. Today back to heavy bleeding. I am having a non-stop menstrual cycle and I am afraid. My mom had a hysterectomy in her 40's because of cancer. I have no insurance and very little money. So I don't know what to do. I haven't had a pap since my son was born. You know the six week check up after you have a baby, that is the last time I had a female check up.

Having endometriosis can really mess up your periods. I had it myself so I know what your going though. Check your phone book, or look on the computer to see if there's a womens clinic near you. They usually work with you as far as payment. It depends on how much you make. You said very little so you should only have to pay very little. This needs to be checked out. It sounds like the endometriosis might possibly be getting worse. And with that much bleeding you can easily become anemic.
