Was seen by a new gyn. (I have had endo for years and 4 laps., from ultrasound, radiologist thinks I might have adenomyosis). Somehow, I knew the gyn. wouldn't want me to have a hyterectomy. But he hasn't had my life. I had my first period at 11 and I missed SO MUCH SCHOOL and phys. ed. I am now 37. Have tried being on a normal birth control continously for about 2yrs. and at the end I kept having break-through bleeding, or spotting or just pain. Pain for masturbating or sex or esp. times when I had anxiety (have chronic depression and anxiety disorders). I have, basically little to no quality of life...I used to weigh 130 or around there and am now 180 and can't seem to get it down, too sore to exercise. Have trouble with fatty liver now since they had to remove gallbladder. This new gyne said I couldn't be put on birth control pill anymore because of my liver. I don't have a love relationship, I barely leave the house because I have trouble with what he thinks is ibs and what i think might be endo. I am so tired ALL THE TIME. I WANT TO LIVE AGAIN. I'm not a teenager anymore and with my nerves being as they are (on anti-depressents) and tried to get off them slowly twice and had nervous breakdowns, with having adenomyosis, which usually puts women at high risk pregnacies, WHY IS HE PLAYING GOD WITH MY LIFE?? Does anyone know of any endo specialists in Edmonton, AB, Canada??? I can't seem to find any. This new gyne wants to give me an iud called minera and says to his patients to not take it out unless they can't possibly stand the effects....what does that say about it??? Do I have to be 65 to have a life again or will they think that's too young...sorry, very frustrated.
