EXTREAM PAIN

I had a vaginal histerectomy several months ago. Every thing seem to go well with it but they also had to correct a problem with my bowls. They cut an incission in my vagina that went to my bowl wall and put mess agains it to try to straighten it out since i was having a difficult time having bowl movements due to a bulge in the bowl. Now on my right side,, of my groin area I have an entense pain that feels like a pinched nerve,, It feels like something is pinching down on a nerve and it sends an excrusiating pain through my groin and where my right leg attaches to my body. deep inside it feels like a fire is piercing a nerve.. I cant explain any other way...somewhat like when a stitch is pulling after an epesitomy after birth. but much more painful.  Does any one have any idea what it might be?

Hi Freddie

I think you may be right ! i have heard of this mesh causing problems for many women. Its very likely that having so much tissue cut, that a nerve could have been pinched , cut, trapped in the mesh.
I would advise you to bypass seeing your gyno cause drs just dont seem to want to admit it could be a surgical error.
Please try a neurologist..tests can be done to see neurological function and you may get some better answers this way.

Do you have pain during bms. urination or sex?

the exact way your describing the pain going down leg sounds like the sciatic nerve. read up on that and see if you think I may be right.

all the best Cherie
