Estradiol patches

Hi.  I have a question.  What are the symptoms that you might have if your dose of Estradiol patches is too high?  Also, is there anyone who is both on the patches and Synthroid?  If so, did your Synthroid dose stay the same after starting the patches?  Thank you in advance.

Your synthroid dose should stay the same...most who already had hypothyroid dont need adjustment.

its interesting to me how very many women were not hypo and after hyster became so.

About the Estradiol you dont want to use if history of deep vein clots, heart issues, known or suspected breast cancer. \\

its best to take with food as it can upset stomach.

Symptoms of too high a dosage  Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); back pain;breast discharge or lump in the breast; calf or leg pain or swelling; chest pain; coughing up blood; dark urine; depression; dizziness; fainting; fever; memory problems; mental or mood changes; muscle pain; one-sided weakness; painful or difficult urination; persistent or severe breast pain or tenderness; persistent or severe headache, nausea, or vomiting; severe stomach pain or swelling; slurred speech; sudden shortness of breath; sunburn-like rash; swelling of hands, legs, or feet; unusual vaginal bleeding, discharge, itching, or odor; vision changes; vomiting; weakness or numbness of an arm or leg; yellowing of the skin or eyes.

alot of these you would take less seriously than others..most women have mental and mood swings after a hysterectomy..so youd need to factor in how severe and ask those you trust how you seem mentally to them...obviouslly others you should head straight to emergency room if dr is not immediatley available like tightness in chest. and persistant sever headache  ....you would take any of these symptoms moe seriosusly if its something you normally rarely get like you have never had dark urine...now you do..get help....dark urine and yellowing of eyes are indicating liver problems..some of the other symptoms...numbness slurred speach indicate stroke..dont ignore.

did not want to sound scarry re reading this it does...and remember the FDA must report every single negative symptom about any med..even if it only happened to 1 in 10,000.

I wish you the best  of corse let your endrocrinologist know about your hysterectomy. Im sure you get your blood tested every three months for thyroid function anyways.
