I was looking for a group about uterine fibroids, but I could not find any. There's this forum, and there are other groups, but non just on fibroids. Meanwhile, according to the statistics I read, at least 50% of women will get fibroids at some point. For some populations, it is as high as 80%!
So I started a Fibroids Group. The Hysterectomies Community seems to be where a lot of people are posting questions about fibroids. And hysterectomies are one of the ways to treat fibroids. But it isn't the only way, and not all fibroids need to be treated at all.
If you are interested in what others are saying, or if you have some BTDT's (been there, done that) experience for others, please come join the group I just started.
