Fibroids on Fundus after hysterectomy. mesh/pain

..I have had a hysterectomy , but my right ovary and cervix were left.   My CT results were read twice. Because I told them I didn't have a uterus when it came up 18mm fibroid on the fundus of the uterus twice. So that was left.  I have went to a gastroenterologist. Liver function test fine. Gastroenterology were wondering why I was there. But ordered at upper abdominal ultrasound. Then wanted to do a colonoscopy too.. I don't think so. Oh, I also have a hernia after the hysterectomy where they put polypropoline   Gore-Tex mesh in.. size of a nickel.... don't know what to do...

They left the fundus.that is where the fibroids are on the fundus... should they have taken the fundus for a partial LSH hysterectomy? I have one ovary left also it keeps rupturing with pain almost monthly. I have a deep cavity where the Gyrus morcelator was put in.. It made a hernia. I now have a Ventralex 1.7 mesh. I do not want in me.. along with the bacteria from the rupturing ovary. Scared I am going to get cancer. High family history.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It is unlikely for fibroids to occur after hysterectomy. If you are having any growth showing up on CT then it may due to benign growth of the colon also. Get a colonoscopy done to rule it out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
