How can I find my sexuality after a hyst.

In 2003 I had a complete hyst. due to severe endometreosis.  I did HRT for about 6 mths then all the hype and controversy over HRT and breast cancer started coming out.

Ive lost the desire for sex... You remember the feeling you get when you look at your spouse, well its gone... I'm 42 now had mine done when I was 38.  What do I do?

hi ther,,the hype and studies about hrt were not good scientific studies,,they used women all elderly and all post menopausl and post hysterectomy it was not a good cross section of women...my gyn explained this to me....bioidentical is thought to have little to no effect on breast cancer..it lowers it according to my obgyn..your risk of stroke is les than 5% increase..there are many good side effects..it increases bone desity which is very important when elderly many women can die from a simple broken hip...just sharing information,.,,,the decision must be yours

Your yound still youd still be having periods now normally,,Id recommend trying bioidentical it will increas vaginal lubrication, decreas depression and help with any menopasula symptoms such as hot flashes...Myself  and may others highly recommend Vivelle its an estrogen patch place below the belly button 2 or 3 times per week i could not be happier with it,,,

Ask your self whats the worst that can happen you try it for a while decide you dont like it and stop....it will bring back normal desires sexually and you will still be able to orgasm.

Yes, Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy can do wonders.  The clinic I have searched out is great.  They supply me with a testosterone tablet that is placed under my tongue daily to help with sex drive. Yes, we do have and need testosterone. I miss my own!!!
