Hysterectomy, prolapsed bowel/vagina wall and bladder sling help?

I had a hysterectomy in June last year, along with the tucking up of a prolapsed bowel and vagina wall.
I also had a sling put in to hold my bladder up, for the past two months I have had a slight stinging enoying sensation on the right side of my groin area, also everytime I lean over for more than a minute, it hurts to stand upright again and start walking. Even sitting for a while and getting up I am very tender. I find I am also going to the toilet more lately as well.
Wondered what happens when a sling comes loose and does not take?
Looking for some advise please.
Thanks

Kegel Exercises
The name may be silly, but these pelvic-floor strengthening exercises really work wonders.
. Why? A stronger pelvic floor better supports your uterus(whena we have one !, bladder, and bowels, and can ease postoperative symptoms such as hemorrhoids and urinary incontinence. Being faithful to your .  And they're easy to do (anywhere): Tense the muscles around your vagina and anus and hold (as you would if you were trying to stop the flow of urine), working up to ten seconds. Slowly release and repeat; shoot for three sets of 20 daily.

of corse ask your dr if he feels this is a good idea/time for you to do these

I agree with remar It almost sounds like you should see a urologist for this rather than a gyno,,just a hunch it could be the sling is not completley intact or scar tissue could be pulling.interfering with it scar tissue/addhesions can do some really odd things. best get it checked soon, good luck.

It sounds like you need to go in for a complete checkup. Something is going on if your having pain and using the bathroom more often. I would ask your Dr about a bladder and or UTI and also have him/her check to see if the sling has failed. Take care. Remar
