Novasure

I recently had a novasure done and I have normal discharge from the procedure; clear with a little order. How long does this normally last. I just clean myself throughout the day. I am going for my 2 week follow up next week. How long do you really have to wait for sexual intercourse? I know my doctor said 4-6 weeks but I've been having a strong desire since 3 days afterwards.

NovaSure uses radio frequency (RF) energy to permanently remove the lining (endometrium) of the uterus, which reduces, or eliminates, future bleeding. Discharge is perfectly normal and can last between 1-6 weeks , most women find it ends in the 2-3 week range. Just use plain soap (mild no perfumed ) and water for cleaning. You dont want to get rid of the healthy bacteria in the vagina. You are feeling good and happy to be pain free , which is wonderful. However you truely must wait, the norm I had thought was 6 weeks. In your case please dont insert anything into the vagina until you get your doctors Ok,,it will be worth waiting for, and it would be a shame o cause any damage as you are doing so vey well. Remember you can not see what the inside of you uterus looks like, I am betting its pretty raw still, so take it easy, pamper your self  a bit, but do follow drs orders. All the best, Cherie

I am taking Lisinopril for high blood pressure. For the last week I have been having some blurred vision and can see some bubble-like floaters in vision. I get much relief after I ly and rest for 10-20min. After that though I have the worst headache. This has been occurring since the novasure. Do you think my equalibriam off or  something.

I think you should phone your doctor asap ..and report these side effects..I am unsure of what they mean in your case..headache with floaters and blurred vision could be a migraine or could be a concern...PLEASE call your doctor or pharmisist now...also do a search on your med if it says to discontinue if these side effects happen then do so,.,,,,((((hugs)))))) Cherie
