Ovarian Cyst found 8 months after Partial Hysterectomy

Thanks for the reply back regarding my concern.  I do have pain on my left lower back it is constant and I do have pain in my lower left abdominal that goes and comes.  I did take the CA125 test -- results not back yet.   Cyst has grown 1mm as I said before slow growing...but a sure pain!

Many use the analogy of the ovaries being as sensitive to pain to us as a mans testicles are to him. I know my cyst sure hurt when it was present, the degrees of hurt would vary I believe it was worst during ovulation. The lower left pelvic pain makes some sense to me. sometimes pain radiates when its just too much for your body to take..lowe left mid back could be kidney, lower lower left back is just the intestines,appendix is on right..everyones anatomy is a touch different your ovarys could be a bit deeper than most. Mine actually (well used to ) sit higher than most.

Have they given you pain meds? if not you with drs permission could likely take up to 800 mg motrin ever 6 to 8 hrs ask him first..if your cyst starts to turn or wrap on the ovary this is called torsion you will know it and need to get to ER..

All and all I would say your instincts are likely correct, but your a wise lady to get everything checked out...hope you dont end up getting a bso like I did post hyster..I was like why couldnt you have done it all at once !!
Your doctor might just suggest a diagnostic lap to see exactly whats going on...myleft ovary with the cyst was engulfed in scar tissue and attached to my bowel thus the extra pain...scar tissue and addhesions cannot be seen on ultrsounds and they can do many odd things...you are close to gettting your answer,,,Cherie
