Ovarian cyst

I had a Laproscopic hysterectomy on January 6th the doctor removed my uterus and cervix he said on my left ovary that there is a cyst but it looks okay and didn't remove the cyst or ovary I noticed ever since after the surgery I feel extremely nauseated expecially when I go to bed at night could this have anything to do with the cyst on my ovary because I never felt nauseated when I went to bed before the surgery I see the GYN doctor for a followup appointment on the 1st of February should I talk to him about this problem if it could be the cyst causing it and what do you think is wrong with the cyst

Yes I would say that the nausea could be cause of the cyst I have complex cysts on my ovaries and am nauseated every night before bed too. Definitely discuss this with him. That's really unusual that he wouldn't remove it considering he was already in there. As a cyst sufferer I think that was poor judgement on his part. Some cysts are considered functional and rupture or dissolve on their own and then their are complex cysts like the ones I get that have to almost 9 times out of 10 be surgically removed. Aren't you on hormones since you just had a hysterectomy...maybe that could be causing the nausea? Hopefully you get some resolution at your next visit. Best wishes and I hope you have a rapid recovery BB
