PLEASE! Somebody Answer!

I have posted this twice and nobody has answered.  I'm starting to lose heart.  I had surgery (hysterectomy) on 4/26 and had to be re-admitted on 5/5.  They said I had an abscess and put in a drainage tube (OUCH) on 5/7 then took it out on 5/9 because #1 it wasn't draining anything and #2 (more importantly) they said I didn't actually have an abscess.  I have a hematoma that was draining vaginally (on it's own, like it was when I was admitted).  On 5/5 it measured approximately 7.5 x 6.5 x 10.5 mm.  It has since stopped draining because I have healed internally so there is no where for the blood to come out.  I had a new ultrasound Friday 5/20 to take new measurements of the hematoma.  What would any of you do?  I am really mad.  The procedure to have the tube put in was really painful and I am having continued pain from where it was (I am told that will go away as the hole heals).  I am also having pain in my abdomen (it isn't any kind of infection) when I urinate and I don't know why.  Anybody want to give me their two cents?

Things like this can happen sometimes. It's really a shame that you went through that procedure and all of the pain and it was'nt even the problem.
Have your bladder checked out. It's been a little while since your surgery, you have no infection, so you should not be having pain during urination.

I had three surgery three time concerning this the last one they gave me the full hysterectomy. I laid in bed for two weeks I couldn't eat or use the bathroom. It was the worst thing ever. I told my doc I had a smell coming from my vagina. She called me in. She said it shouldn't be like this plus I was bleeding. So she found that there was infection in two locations. They had to drain plus I went back in the hospital for a week and a half. Antibiotics the works. Don't just let this thing stay in you like that complain ..

I have never had any problems like you have had but here is my two cents. I would get a second opinion to see what is going on or even a third opinion. I would not stop until I had a doctor give me direct answers and was willing to help me. Good luck to you. I hope you are pain free soon.
