With no uterus, you could not safely carry a baby, and no IVF clinic would transfer an embryo to you if you don't have a uterus, even if you were much younger. You can't produce any eggs if you had a complete hysterectomy because that means you have no ovaries any more. So the first point is that you yourself are not going to be biologically part of any baby that you and your boyfriend end up raising.
Unless you are willing to consider adoption, the only possibility for a baby for you and your boyfriend to raise would be if he went to a fertility doctor alone and told them he wanted a child, and hired a gestational carrier ("surrogate mother") and used a donor egg and his sperm, and the surrogate carried the baby. The reason he would have to go alone (or you would have to lie about your age) is because a lot of IVF clinics will not do embryo transfer to a surrogate if the woman who is going to raise the baby is past the age where the clinic would transfer the embryo to her. (That age is either 48, 50, or 52 at most reputable clinics.)
Ectopic is not a process, it is the problem of when an embryo gets stuck in the Fallopian tube and has to be surgically removed.
I would consider looking into adoption, in your situation. The costs of IVF, surrogates and donor eggs can easily top $20 to $30 thousand dollars.
Pregnancy after hysterectomy is next to impossible / extremely rare. There have been some case reports of pregnancy after hysterectomy but the fetus cannot develop properly since the uterus (womb) has been removed. Even if you still had your uterus, most women no longer have the ability to get pregnant at age 55.
