Premarine

Hi, Just an update & comment about my total hysterectomy... I had my surgery on May 26th and feel great! Doctor said my uterus was 3x the normal weight!  My bladder was attached to my uterus (lots of scar tissue from my 2 previous C-sections) and my uterus weighed 3x above the normal weight. I am on Premarin (low dose) and so far I feel fine. Is there any long term side effect to this pill?

Hi Its so good to hear you are doing well. Many times women have theri uterus addheared to the bladder, mine was it is so nice to be able to sleep through the night and not have to get up to use the bathroom.

Premarine is not a bio-identical hormone and not my personal favorite however itf itw working for you, you dont fix what is not broken. Go to our new prescription page/forum and you will find much information about this and any other meds.

natch, all meds have side effects and theres usually a few studys done that say different things it gets confusing, Mary53 a member here wrote a very excellent journal page about HRT read it and if you have any questions please redirect to me Mary works many hrs and does not wish to answer questions at this time.
