Hi there,

I just read your comments. I truly wish these ultrsound reports were written
so any lay person could read them. I got two ultrsounds about a month ago.
My doctor had to translate what they meant. There is a nurse that works
in my doctor's office. I still had questions after talking to my doctor.
The nurse was terrific. I asked her if I could read her what the ultrasound
report said. I also asked what does this mean ? Could you explain this to
me in simple English. Take good care, Evewisewoman :) Eve

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
The report suggests multiple fibroids in the uterus. These are not very large in size. Fibroids are benign tumours of the uterus and can cause menstrual problems, pain and fertility issues. The endometrium of 7 mm is normal. However a biopsy is done to rule out hyperplasia of the endometrium or cancer which can be associated with fibroids. Discuss with your Doctor. Hope this helps.
Take care and good luck.
