Slight bleeding 8 years after hysterectomy

Hysterectomy 8 years ago.  I am having a small amount of bleeding.
Is this common or not?  I did not have my ovaries removed.

when a woman retains her ovaries, it is assumed they will function correctly, that is not always the case. In many situations for reasons not clear, other than to assume the bodys own system acts as it does. the ovaries slow down or cease to function  either slowly or completely in some women, This could be your case, I tried to find your age on your profile I could not, if your close to pre menopause 45 ish or menopause 50ish you may be experiencing what I am almost 100 % sure is your problem.   I think you may have lack of hormones leading to lack of vaginal lubricants leading to vaginal dryness, Advice...go to dr and ask about BIHRT I say bio identical is the way to go.,No premarine it is old school "preggo horse urine,,,yuck"
In the mean time try some ky jelly to keep those delicate tissues moist.
