this is most likely scar tissue forming that is causing the pain (pulling sensation) if it's intense pain then you should call your dr. but if it's just tension or tightness it's most likely normal healing. The bloating is most likely just your body adjusting and fluids retained in the healing tissues. be patient your are only at 2 months (8 weeks) that is VERY early in the healing phase...they did ALOT of work in there! if it feels ok and you are ok'd to do exercise at this point...I would suggest gently stretching the area to keep the scar tissue pliable (yoga is how I do this and after 8 abdominal surgeries...it has helped keep me able to move well) also when watching t.v. in the evening I massage my tummy and put a finger in my belly button to lift the tissues up to allow blood flow to move more freely into the area as wells as stretch the tissues...but again...if you are not yet approved for exercise and are still on restrictions then wait to do any of the above...know that the scar tissue will soften in time if this is what is going on...if the bloating is gas...simethicon in my little helper for that...;) my first 2 surgeries were 10 years ago and the best advice I was given by a nurse is to stand up straight even if it hurt (I had open abdominal cut) so the adhesions did not form and pull me into a hunched position...I have used this for all the surgeries I have had since then...and it really does seem to help!
If the pain is severe...I would suggest a call to the dr. because if in doubt...we should ALWAYS call the dr.!

I had intermittent pain for quite awhile after my surgery. I am 9 years out and still get some "pulling" sensations. If your pain is constant and/or severe, you should see your surgeon to figure out what is going on.
