Hi there ,,,Im just not real happy with your Drs response, a ovarian removal (tubes too??) should have nothing to do with a previous hyster as far as vaginal bleeding.
Have you been doing too much...not resting...like lifting, house work,,etc? that could mean the stretching feeling is a problem with the wound site internally from the ovary area and the blood is simply coming out threw the porus skin of the vagina.
what ever the cause,,,you need and have the right to find. out why,,,Id insist on an appointment tommrow...if not go to the er ( just to get the best help) also they have all the equpment for any testing....dont wait it is always best to be safe than sorry.
I have a hunch that some of your internal sutures may have come loose too soon and or your being a bit too active..you can do most normal things with drs permission ,,just should avoid real heavy lifiting and if you have resumed sex perhaps its just too soon for your body.
good luck please let me know how you are,,,,go tommrow Ok??
hugs
Cherie
Hi Both....I think its very likely your right w one other possibility I will discuss in a min.....the surgical cuff is the new top to your vaginia..it should certainly be 100% healed after 2 years...however if for some reason it was lower than most ( some women wind up with a shorter vagina) it is easier to tear and loose sutures...However i dont understand poster above about sutures,,,you must mean loosing them soon after surgery as they arre disolvables,,,they would no way be in place 2 years post op.
the other issue..sex after a hyster most of us have a issue with dryness,,If your having sex and not using a lubricant you may have vaginal tearing.
Hi Kelly...
I have the same going on and has been since total hyst in 2008. On and off I bleed and have pain. I go to the doctor where they keep finding granulation tissue and sutures at the vaginal cuff coming thru. Every time they are yanked out, within a few days, I feel better and the bleeding stops. Then the cycle begins again.
You might want to have your GYN look into that (pardon the pun).
I wish you well.
