I too have gained about a stone since hysterectomy in February & have read that the swollen belly is due to fluids the lymphatic system can't dispel. If so would diuretics help or is there something else we could take to help the lymphatic drainage? Or will this dispel on its own?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
Medical treatment is available for weight loss but this is best taken under medical supervision. Also this has to be complimented with diet modification and regular to exercise, in order to achieve good results.
Hope this helps.
