What Can I Do PLEASE HELP

I had a total hysterectomy back in 1990 i have never had a hot flash or any of the other symptons, but one thing i have been going through that has ruined my relationship of 11 yrs....no urge for SEX..and when i do its about once every 6 months to a year...my husband got tired of waiting on me so he cheated with a friend of mine but he didnt know that she was my friend.  I feel less than a woman most of the time...i have no support and dealing with this by myself really troubles me deep inside my soul. With this i am depressed, no friends, no one to talk with . Hurting in my Heart

I too know how you feel about the sex drive thing. Back when I could take the hormone replacement therapy I had a normal sex drive for my age (especially when I was taking the injections) later I had to get off of them because I had an allergy to the meds. So after I got off of the HRT I noticed a big drop in my drive. Maybe you need to up your dose...but be sure you do whats right for your body not whats right to please the hubby. Your health is more important than someone elses need for sex!

Im sorry you had to experiene that with your hubby, as if going thru a hysterectomy was not hard enough! Take care of you and (((BIG HUGS)))

If you are taking an hrt, you may need to have it changed. I myself take monthly injections opposed to a pill or a patch because I can contol how much hormones go into my body. I must say since taking the shot, my sex drive has increase like crazy. Hubby is loving that.

Hey, Gosh...I don't know you but I want to send you a hug across the miles wherever you may be and tell you that things can get better.

I think that women are given the short end of the stick when it comes to all this. No explanations....nothing. I was in the same boat years ago. Obviously something is not balanced in your system. I am wondering if you have ovaries or not? Oh...I just see you wrote "total" hysterectomy. Thanks. As you and I know, not all hysterectomies are created equally.

I am going to send you a message on your profile. Thanks for going "blue" ...it makes life easier on this site when people do that.

Hang in there....

Mary
