I am 50 years old and just recently had a complete hystorectomy. I had horrible menstral cramps that caused me to lose work too often. All my friends told me that having a hystorectomy was the best thing that ever happened to them. Well, when does it start??? Unfortunatly I am not able to take hormones because of my history of strokes, my other option I found out was depression. I have been on a couple of different anti-depressants and so far I'm not liking them much. The doctor said there was eight different ones and I may have to go through all eight!!! YIKES, does any body have any suggestions? If that weren't enough, I have developed a numbness in my right thigh that really hurts (burns, aches....etc) Don't know if it's related but have read some things on line of people that had spinals had the same problem, because I had a spinal with my surgery. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
