What hormones are necessary

by Voelker, Aug 11, 2008 08:54PM
My girlfriend is 42. she had a complete hysterectomy including removal of her ovaries. What is the best hormone replacement therapy and what hormones are necessary? How can she stay healthy, not gain weight and still be interested in sex? Any other advice about this whole situation would be totally useful and very much appreciated.

She may need:

Estrogen for night sweats, hot flushes, sleeplessness, moodiness, vaginal health and more.

Testosterone for: sexual desire, lubrication and orgasm, muscle mass, feeling good about herself and other things as well.

As far as staying healthy and not gaining weight, that is up to her and her lifestyle.
