antibiotics for Endometritis

Can Endometritis spread to other organs? Had a TAH with both ovaries removed without taking antibiotics before the surgery. After surgery I was given Levaquin due to urinary tract infection. I have been suffering with severe chronic lower back, abdominal and pelvic pain since surgery appr. 2 yrs. ago. Exp. lap-one small adhesion...cryosurgery, steroid injections offer minimal relief. Prior to surgery I had left lower back pain that radiated to abdominal area. Diverticulitis, pancreatitis, STD, vascular mesenteric process ruled out before surgery...I did have a right ovarian "simple" cyst and 4 cm fibroid.Been told the TAH "took care of the endometritis." Severe pain after bowel movement, sex... Can't sit, stand, walk for extended periods...I am so grateful I found this site.....Should I ask for antibiotics now????? Thank you so very much for any advise and sharing any experience you may have....
