I do not envy you. I am having a very similar situation and I too am worried. My advice to you is most assuredly see a GYN and if he or she doesn't send you for blood work and at least an ultrasound after a physical exam GET A SECOND OPINION. I am NOT a medical professional but have been through too many GYN related issues: I am a firm believer in SECOND OPINONS. I usually get second opinions even if the doctor I am seeing gives me "good news" just to make sure nobody is missing anything. I wish you good luck. I am still in a state of not knowing due to a very poor choice of GYN's when mine retired so I am pushing on for answers.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
Bleeding and pain so many years after a hysterectomy and menopause warrants an examination by a gynaecologist. An examination, scrapings and an ultrasound scan should be done to find out the problem.
The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
