hemmoroids are vericous veins of the rectum they can be internal or external are very noticable your gyno woulda notice them.....its normal to have a burning feeling..your recouvering from very major surgery,,and most women are hesitant to go the first time your so sore your figuring a bm will hurt too..

try sticking to all soft foods for a few more days for s few weeks Id stay away from anything that you know binds you..now that you know a fleet works if you need to use it again..dont make it too much of a habit you do need to get bowel function back to normal

Thanks everyone!  I got Milk of Magnesia and used a Fleet suppository. It finally came out. I was trying not to force it but I couldn't help it!  Hope I didn't pull any stitches. But it burns so bad when I go, hope I don't have hemorrhoids.  That is all I need.  I really don't even know what they are.  LOL

you dont want to allow yourself to become impacted..that happened to me after hemmoroidal surgery and I had to go to er..the treatment wasnt fun...so..prevent it..eat prunes they arent bad just like a giant rasin..avoid meats eat soft foods till your bowels are more regulated..insted of just stool softners.I took a stoolsoftner./laative combo...ask you docotor first before doing that..there is no harm in using a simple glycerian sypository  it softens and draws the bowel down...

Hi there,
Drink lots of water, increase your fiber and you may need to take stool softerners for awhile til you are up and about like your pre-op status. I took Miralax for a few weeks and it worked wonders. Pain meds really wreak havoc on the bowel too, so if you are taking them, definitely add stool softeners and or laxatives for awhile.
Good luck and keep us posted.
