exercise post op

I had a vaginal hysterectomy 12th Nov. Before my op i used walk at least 10kms a day and do exercises and work full time.
I would  like to know a timeline when i can start doing exercise etc. I have been i advised that I can return to work within 3 - 4 weeks,, though can't drive till 3 weeks post op.

Hi Sharbo, this is a question you will need to ask your surgeon as only he/she knows the specifics of your surgery. It will likely be ok by week 4 to start walking short distances and add more every day. Jogging, carrying weights or wearing weight bands is not ok. I am glad your feeling well enough to ask this question.

Sounds like your doing well, if you bleed that much your probably anemic?

take it easy, and I wish you well.
