after my hysterc. I develoed severe left ovarian pain, took me a year and many trips to er to finally get help , ended up my left ovary was completley engulfed in scar tissue and addheared to the bowel.

scar tissue and endo tissue can do strange things , keep pushing for help until you get it ask for a diagnostic ultrasound  mri or a laproscpy.

Sorry you are in pain.  I do know that you can have endo tissue migrate to the bowel even after a hysterectomy.  A 2 cm simple cyst like that on the ovary is perfectly normal, don't worry.  A rectal abcess can be very, very painful.  Are they treating you with anything?  Steroids or antibiotics?  Special diet?
I hope you feel better soon.
