I know this is very concerning hrt is so contraverial. I do believe 100% if your goint to do it bio-identical is the way to go. I used the vivelle patch with much success. Different products work for different ladies. I was rare to get it right first time , but Im only 47 things change I am very aware I may have to change as I age.

I dont have the answer about weight gain it could likely be do to the hyster as well as the hrt. We simply sometimes have to take the good w the bad. I am certain you could loose some and increase muscle mass when dr gives you permission to exercise. Many of my ladies swear by pilaties.
I got a good cut and past with wonderful information about your product hope it helps I read about 10 pages this one was the best.

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for estrogen deficiency symptoms in postmenopausal women who have been hysterectomised. The experience treating women older than 65 years is limited.

Adult Dosage :
mg to 2 mg daily. Dosage may be adjusted according to severity of symptoms or clinical response. Climaval may be taken continuously in hysterectomised patients. For initiation and continuation of treatment of postmenopausal symptoms, the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration (see also section 4.4) should be used.

Unless there is a previous diagnosis of endometriosis, it is not recommended to add a progestogen in hysterectomised women.

Missed tablet: If a tablet is missed it should be taken within 12 hours of when normally taken; otherwise the tablet should be discarded, and the usual tablet should be taken the following day.
