I was already going through some depression and anxiety before my hysterectomy and when they found some fibroid tumors they finally decided to do a hysterectomy, From the time I left the hospital I don't remember anything still today, I made some bad decisions and am even facing some criminal charges because of this. I am now going through intensive outpatient therapy and I am taking two anti-depressants, my home life pretty much ***** with a emotionally and verbally abusive alcoholic husband and me also fighting my own alcoholism. Those 6 weeks after my surgery all I remember was being very nervous about being off work and our money situation and feeling completely crazy without being on any hormones and drinking and just not wanting to live from all the worry. I think I am starting to level out a little and my therapy is for sure helping. I need to know if anyone else has ever heard of memory loss and making crazy, bad decisions after a hysterectomy??
