Your question is too vague. the medical definition of a hysterectomy is the removal of the uterus and cervix, people often assume a hysterectomy is removal of tubes and ovarys also, that procedure is called a BSO, weather you should have your BSO with hyster would depend on many variables. why are you getting hyster? what is your age?
I guess a good thing to say about just having uterus out is you still have your hormones, the surgery time is shorter and recovery is easier.
