stenosis of cervix, increase in thickened endometrium , ovarian cyst, postmenopausal
i was diagnosed with stenosis of my cervix. i also have a thickened endometrium which is a little thicker than 4 months ago which i had two biopsies of which came out normal. i am postmenopausal. i would appreciate any information on these two conditions in which anyone has experienced thank you i have adhesions in my abdomen and may need a hysterectomy in the future. i also have an ovarian cyst which got smaller since last time they tested me. i am a postmenopausal woman. any help would sure be appreciated thank you
Stenosis of the cervix means that the opening of the cervix or the cervical os is closed. This can often lead to collection of secretions with the uterus. Thickened endometrium may indicate an endometrial hyperplasia or the risk of endometrial cancer. Since your biopsies have come normal there is no need to worry. Abdominal adhesions should not pose a problem for having a hysterectomy.
Hope this helps.
thank you. the gyn is watching my ovarian cyst which got slightly smaller, and the thickened endometrium. how long will they have to watch it. i am tired of biopsies and transvaginal ultrasounds. will the stenosis of cervix be there always. what can they do for it. i haven't asked my dr yet these questions.... thank you for your answer
