total hysterectomy
I had my total hysterectomy last Wednesday and i am having like some kind of contractions. Also my belly feels so uncomfortable and swollen.  Is this normal and how long does the bloatiness last for?

When you have the surgery they put gas in your stomach to better see things. It can last for awhile and be uncomfortable. The contraction feelings could be the rest of your organs moving around because you have no uterus now. If things keep up and you still feel uncomfortable in the next few days make an appointment with your Dr.
