unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and onset of menopause

Is it correct that we (women) develop our lifetime supply of "eggs" very early in life, and the onset of menstruation and menopause depends on the number of eggs we have?  Are the eggs stored in the ovaries?  If so, would a unilateral salpingo-oopherectomy eliminate half of my stored eggs and cause menopause to begin in half the time?

We are born with all the eggs that we'll ever have in our lifetime.
Menstruation affects Menopause in that, the earlier that one enters Puberty; the earlier the onset of Menopause. So, it's not the number of eggs that one has... but rather, how soon in one's life that one begins to lose those eggs. Our eggs are indeed stored in our ovaries.
The surgical removal of one of the two ovaries and one of the two fallopian tubes would definitely impact reproduction and possibly the onset of Menopause. But, I doubt that Menopause would necessarily be imposed in half the time just because you're missing part of your reproductive structures.
